The Saturday before Memorial Day we took Peter and Greta on a hike up to Bell's Canyon Reservoir. We had such a good time. I have loved, and I DO love the excitement and dynamic of a large family with lots of personalities. There is energy and excitement and a richness to life with a full house. But you know what else is pretty great? Just hanging with the two youngest and getting a little taste of a smaller family dynamic.
I'm not sure what inspired Greta's fashion choice-- specifically the Hawaiian lei-- but she made it work.

It was at this moment that she declared it to be officially summer and she didn't care what the calendar said.
