Virginia City is a charming little "ghost town" in Montana. We were planning to visit on our way to Spokane, but then Bethany had the idea to get a family old time photo, like we'd often done while the kids were growing up.

And you know us. You know we are not going to pass up an opportunity to dress up and take a family picture.
But we'll get to that in just a second.
First of all, when you see a piano just sitting on the boardwalk, it's clearly begging to be played.

Remember that time that Peter got a new hat and shirt and shark tooth necklace from Yellowstone on the day he turned 10 and seemingly over night he turned from little kid to pre-teen.
