This happy event (the engagement) occurred on June 13th. We are so happy Elinor and Hunter have found each other. They deserve one another and all the happiness in the world.
With the help of his sisters and brother-in-laws, Hunter planned a beautiful proposal up at Bear Lake. His brother-in-law had a family cabin right on the lake, and Hunter was so kind to invite our who family up for the big moment. It ended up just being the five of us (Abe, Betsy, George, Peter, and Greta). But some of us had never been to Bear Lake before, so it was fun to go up and stay the night and play a bit.
The beautiful set up...
Elinor hoped the proposal was going to be happening, but didn't know for sure. What was a big surprise to Elinor was us being there. Here we are hiding behind this shed that blocked the view of the set up. Hee hee hee! So tricky of us!

The posters are "Bugboy and Acorn" comics that Hunter created, telling of Hunter and Elinor's story. "Bugboy and Acorn" is a series of comics Elinor as drawn for years-- check it out on Instagram.
Hunter is so wonderful with Daniel. He is a very lucky little boy to get to have a dad like Hunter.
Those are not Hunter's glasses-- rather they are those cool new Apple glasses that can video what you are seeing.
