Brace Yourselves-- 'Tis the Season

We drove home from Spokane on Monday, December 1st.  And just like that, we're into the thick of Christmas.  We three Foxy Ladies had a splendid time at Festival of Trees.
They are SOOO fun and so dang cute!
George, Peter, and Greta once again joined with the Chase family for their annual sock drive for the Road Home Shelter.  I think they collected about 2100 pairs.  And then it was so fun to get the local South Valley Journal in January and see this picture on the front page.
Peter got invited to Christmas party with dance friends.  There was to be a "major award" to whomever was most festively attired.  Peter was all over that!  He carefully designed his look.
In case you could possibly be in doubt-- yes, he did win!
I have never been a big fan of handicrafts.  Probably because I am not, and never have been very good at them.  But the strangest thing happened to me in November.  I was doom scrolling and Christmas crafty projects kept popping up.
Do they not know me at all?  That's not my jam.

Or is it?

They looked so cute and I got a sudden urge to make Christmas crafts.  What is happening to me?  It was all rather alarming.  But it wasn't just a passing fancy-- I actually acted on it.  I gathered my Foxy Ladies together and hosted our first Foxy Ladies Crafty Christmas Night! We watched and mocked several atrocious Hallmark movies throughout the evening.
I invited Andrea to join us and to our surprise and delight, Raven was in town and they both joined us.
The very next night was Nutcracker Painting Night.  So much creativity all in one weekend!
