A Play, a Wedding, and a Prom

It was a memorable evening to go see Finding Neverland at Hale Center Theater with our very own Peter.

We loved having Justin and Emily over for dinner a few weeks back.  Abe was good friends with Justin growing up in Spokane, and we each had one baby when I first met them.  I immediately knew she was a kindred spirit!  They were in town for a grandbaby's blessing, and there are few people's company I enjoy as much as theirs.
Abe's niece, Cambri got married earlier in May and it was quite the event!  So very fancy and so enjoyable.  Pictured here are Fox cousins:  Elinor, Gentri, Annie, and Ellori.
Chatting at the adults table.
Our table for the luncheon.  I quite like that I have birthed most of my favorite people.
Lovelies

Foxy sister-in-laws-- me, Tiffany, Mary, and Katie
Six of the nine OG Foxes.  The father-of-the-bride, Daniel, is on the far right.
I certainly hope my children grow to love and enjoy each other's company as much as Abe and his siblings do.
Cannon going to Jr. prom-- He had a great time.

This much I will say, in my experience, school dances with sons are accompanied by markedly less drama than those with daughters.  For this, I am very grateful.
That being said...

... while on a morning walk with Camille recently, I lamented that teenagers just don't toilet paper one another's houses like they used to when we were younger.  I remember it being a rather regular occurrence-- it was never done mean spiritedly-- rather all in good "clean" fun.  Ha ha ha! Pun totally intended.
So you can imagine my delight when not one week later we arrived home to this!  Not only had we been toilet papered (not impressively, mind you, but still, legitimately toilet papered), but also FORKED!!!!  I haven't seen a good forking since high school!  This was so wonderful!  I felt so seen!  So loved!

Just look at all those beautiful little plastic forks!

Well.  Come to find out.  This act was not done in the name of good, clean fun bordering on flirtation.  Rather, Cannon's prom date, who shall remain nameless on this blog, was not happy with him.  I find him innocent of wrong-doing, but I am the boy's mother and I quite like him, so my viewpoint is probably not to be implicitly trusted.

So much for lack of drama:)
