Following tradition, Abe took the gang down to Red Ledges on Labor Day for some good old fashioned lizard hunting.
Rachelle (my lovely cousin) and Brandon (her husband) and their family were joined our gang to learn the ways of the hunt. We absolutely adore their family.
I stayed home to work on wedding projects. I often pass on this outing because... well... as Rachelle learned, moms get rather nervous when their children are scampering up and down giant rocks. Its like babies learning to go up and down stairs. If you watch they are more likely to take a tumble. I know its good for them to be brave and challenge themselves, but I don't like to watch.
And I do love that Abe and the kids love going to Red Ledges.
Cutie little Greta with a cutie little lizard. Yeah... its that whole "nervous mom" thing again.
Faith taught Landen the ways and he was all in:)
I guess the sun was pretty bright:)
