Parent Observations Ballet and Tumbling

Greta is in Ballet 1 this year with Miss Cassidy.  She is just to the left of the teacher.

Faith fulfilled the parental role for Greta and her Jolley's Tumbling performance in December.  These two have approached their tumbling very differently.  Faith was focused, never talked during class, and never got in trouble.  Greta... operates a little differently in her classes.  The teachers who have had both have a little trouble believing they are sisters.

Oquirrh Mountain Ballet 2022

This was George's 2nd year as the Nutcracker.
This was Peter's first year performing the role of Fritz.  He was a natural.

Cannon was the Spanish Prince.

Greta the mouse sneaks a smile at us.
Peter had a quick costume change from Fritz into a mouse.  Way to be in character, Pete!
Greta is second from the left.

The dancers-- I'm pretty sure George's vest was fixed before the show started:)

The kids did great and as always, it was a joy to watch them.

Faith's Christmas Party 2022

Our younger kids owe a debt of gratitude to their older siblings who paved the way in creating fun party traditions and party formats.  Faith followed their example and had a great Christmas party with friends.

Our four esteemed judges.  Not suprisingly, Peter was very vocal in his opinions.
Peter volunteered to announce the winners.  Note Faith's face here.  So far, she agrees with the judges.
As you can see here, she did not agree with the overall winner.  Her team won structural integrity with the Tower of London (bottom center)
It was a good white elephant gift exchange.
Braxton was pleased with his gift from Faith-- Captain America comic books from DI

Faith was overcome with joy at her win in the white elephant gift exchange-- roaring dinosaur flashlights.  The facial expression comes with it:)
Jan (pronounced yawn) is a foreign exchange student from Switzerland.  He speaks very little English and he's basically a celebrity on the Lehi swim team.  They all LOVE him.  He's adorable!
