Greta was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on August 31st, 2024. It was a very happy day for this very happy child. Every single day we are so grateful she is a part of our family. Not surprisingly, I wish I could slow time with her. Perhaps it is just because she is the youngest, but I think it's also because she is so delightful-- she is kind, articulate, artistic, creative, resourceful, musical, responsible, conscientious, snuggly, loving, playful, thoughtful, and just so enjoyable to spend time with. Abe baptized and confirmed her
When we were picking out her traditional white dress for after the baptism, she saw this white purse and liked it and wanted it and got it. I guess that's kind of how it works these days. Feel free to follow me for more outstanding parenting tips.
Elinor was the pianist and during the closing song Daniel got sad and saintly Hunter (Elinor's boy) was taking him out when he saw me conducting and reached for me (so cute). I motioned for Hunter to bring him to me and he helped conduct, until he saw George and reached for him. It was sweet.
We wanted a group photo, but the idea of herding this group outside was beyond daunting. Abe solved the problem with a .5 picture. Way to embrace technology, Abe! Such a lovely day with so many people we love. That's as good as it gets:)
