Happy Summer Happenings

Grover-- the Gentleman Dog.  As I write this, we are away on a trip.  And poor Grover is, no doubt, on the verge of a nervous breakdown.  Even though he is being cared for, he just cannot handle us (me) being gone.  #prayforgrover

Less than a month before the Elinor and Hunter's wedding!!!

I would have to defer the title to my older sister if she had been in attendance... but I was the Grand Dame of this grouping of Cannon girl cousins.  It is an honor to be grouped with these beautiful ladies.  I think Grandma Cannon is very proud of us all.

My wise and wonderful Aunt Carolyn.  She has been an example and an advisor to me for many years.

Elinor has been a baking fiend lately!  She is making the most delectable creations and we are getting spoiled with the tasty goodness.

It was such a treat to get to go watched my niece, Takara's, softball game and see her get this beautiful base hit.

 

George turned 15 and got his learners permit.   I know... we are as shocked as you are.

Meanwhile, we enjoyed a Foxy Ladies Night (minus Greta but plus two grandsons) at Olive Garden.

Gahhhh--- so cute!

Meanwhile, George went on a solo fishing expedition to Day Break Lake.  

 

I love this picture of Peter and his Grandpa Peter Cannon.  I love how much they look alike. 

Peter won't have to wonder too much what he'll look like when he's older.

Baby Charlie's blessing day-- honest to goodness, there was no communication on wearing green.  Just a happy happenstance.

We enjoyed a most tasty and enjoyable dinner at Texas Road House with my dad and Bev.

Abe took George to a birthday dinner at Olive Garden.  Ben is currently working at Olive Garden-- hence a nice little discount, hence our more frequent visit there as of late.

Cutie little Faith and Landen at Chubby's restaurant.  Landen is the manager there, so we get a nice little discount there as well:)
