When I get behind on posting here, it's pretty easy to catch up on the big happenings. But sometimes the little moments get forgotten. Which is sad, because it's the little moments that paint the most accurate picture of real life.
This is a post about some of those little moments this past fall-- most of them happy-- but let's talk about the saddest moment first and get it out of the way.
The tents we had put up for Greta's baptism didn't get taken down in time. The wind kicked up one day and they turned into a tangled mess. This loss cut deep for Abe. He loved his tents and took such good care of them (until he didn't). It was a good couple of months before anyone in the house could opening talk about it. They have since been replaced and he has made peace the loss.A classic game of The Great Dalmuti.
A triple date with Ben and Beth and Hunter and Elinor. We ate at Seven Brothers and then went to a play. We went to see Bandstand and it was amazing!
Grover is the sweetest, and most compliant, dog ever!
Children are so creative when I'm a big meanie and I turn off all screens.
Peter read the story of Theseus and the Minotaur and built a Lego maze for his project.
Oh, look. It's Grover again. He is such a gentleman dog.
Peter, Elika, and Kate doing D&D together.
A little Panda Express date with Dad.

George on a Young Men's campout.
A Fox brothers' lunch
This is the kind of trail Greta leaves when she is "arting" all over the house.

Providing a patch of shade for another.

Temple time is happy time
Cannon in his cute little Madrigals sweater:)
Abe and I at the Imagine Dragons concert. I like Imagine Dragons, but to be honest, a whole concert of it was a little much for me. That being said, it was the finest use of copious amounts of confetti I've ever seen.I call this piece Death by Practice.
Cousin Jules's baptism day
Fox cousin love at Talitha's bridal shower
One day Bethany was quite sick and Greta and I went over to keep her company. Greta loves to clean, so she got right to work.
Friendsgiving with the old Stake Young Men's Presidency group. I don't know a more delightful group of humans.
My GORGEOUS niece, Kaylee, played the role of Mrs. Wormwood in Alta High School's production of Matilda. She is SO talented!
Greta and I were up at Andrea's working on a not-so-little Christmas project and Greta was have a grand time with the exercise equipment.
