Christmas Piano Recital 2024

I had a lot of trouble scheduling our Christmas recital at any of our usual locations.  I was SO grateful to Andrea for letting us use her Plumfield House downtown.  It was really quite lovely.
To be honest, at this point, I can't remember which group was which time.
But I do remember that all of them played beautifully and I was ridiculously proud of them.  It is so enjoyable to develop relationships with each one.  They are my little friends.

Linc was George's first friend-- his mom and I were pregnant together when we were both in a Primary presidency.  They played as little guys, and then they moved away and lost touch for a few years.  Now that Linc takes piano lessons, they've reunited and back to being friends.

Speaking of friends that go back a while, Greta and the twins.
Greta played "O Holy Night"
Here is the link.

Peter played "Russian Dance"

George played two pieces-- "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" (his own arrangement)
and "Hallelujah Chorus"
And of course, we ended the evening with a trip to Arctic Circle.
