Christmas Morning 2025

Cuddle Puddle on Christmas morning before we head downstairs.
The lineup in order of height-- smallest to tallest.  Faith's prediction is proving true-- eventually she will make it to the front of the line.

HAHAHA!!  I don't know whose idea it was to physically restrain Peter from rushing down the stairs-- but it was all in good fun and there were no tears

Faith and Landen gave Abe the fun game of Hues and Cues

It's kind of a funny story... let's just say Cannon REALLY likes Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes.  I often include them in a little gift bag for my piano students.  This year I bought them early so I wouldn't have to search for them at the last minute.
That was a mistake.  I should have kept them under lock and key.
Greta made beaded geckos for all the married siblings.
Clark and Brianna gave Abe this super cute Fox puppet
It was time for Cannon's "senior picture" of him and me.  This tradition started with Clark and I'm so glad it has continued with each subsequent senior.
Abe gave me a sweet locket with a picture of us in it.
The Christmas aftermath
Abe cooking his British Fried Breakfast
A much anticipated feast!

Later on Christmas Day, Hunter and Elinor came over and we have them a gift of a photo book of their wedding day.
Such a cutie picture of them-- also, the plant was one of Elinor's hoped for Christmas presents.  She has become a plant lady.
More beaded geckos
Then even later in the day, Ben and Bethany and Charlie came over.  It was a Matz Christmas year.
They gave me a little photo book of Charlie
And we gave them a photo book of their wedding day
Games together on Christmas hit different.
Elinor and Hunter didn't have Daniel for Christmas this year-- BOO!  But it was so fun when we finally got to give him his presents.  We missed the little guy so much!
We gave him this trampoline
Grandpa gave Daniel Owl Moon.  And he read it to him in a way that cast a spell on him.
