Italian Thanksgiving is a highlight of the holiday season. The Youngs were our gracious hosts this year.
Our third extended family:)
This is what a few good men look like.
Temple trip with friends.
We entertained one another with a talent show along with singing a few Christmas carols.
George melted down crayons and poured them into a cookie cutter to make a cool crayon.
Peter put on A LOT of socks.
It made for an excellent point shoe:)
What beautiful pointy toes he has!
Hello, Flexible!
Sometimes our elf forgets to move. But sometimes he really slays it. Like this day when he wore custom-made wiener dog underwear. Haha! Older siblings are awesome.
Greta came with Abe and me to cheer for Faith at the Silver Rush swim meet.
Faith and Braxton are great swimt eam friends, (JUST friends) They are usually found together at meets and since he's a lot taller than her, it makes it easier to find her on deck.
Faith is in the purple suit in the middle. She is loving swim more than ever.
Check out those back muscles! This picture was taken during a private lesson where she was working on her backstroke starts. She working hard to improve her technique.
Our amazing neighbors and dear friends, the Chases, organize these awesome boys to do a sock drive each December. They love it and I'm so grateful for the effort they put in.
The tree fort is a work of art:)
Abe had a same-day hernia surgery back at the beginning of December. It went very smoothly and his recovery was pretty quick. But I will say it was a trick having him somewhat out of commission for a few days during such a busy time of the year. He and I make a pretty good team and it was markedly harder without him.
It must be noted how sweet/funny Abe is when he comes out of anesthesia. I mean, he is a real sweetheart normally, but after surgery, he is SO mushy, gushy, lovey, dovey. And he is SO grateful to all the nurses and hospital staff. He told his nurse she had really nice eyes, but immediately told her they weren't as nice as mine!
Faith was Swimmer of the Month for her Lehi team in November.
Elinor had so much fun judging the "Mr. Silver Rush Pageant" at Riverton High School. It's part of the huge fundraising Silver Rush activity they do in the month of December.
A couple of her good swim team friends were competing as well. Faith and I went to watch and it was SO FUNNY-- I mean, really hysterical. Such good fun for a such a good cause.
Elinor, Faith, and Tristin.
Elinor went to another Miss Riverton fundraising function that Miss Murray was putting on and she was instructed to dress as a princess or superhero. Naturally, she made her own spiderman costume and was thrilled with the results. This picture is SO ELINOR!
Spiderman was her first crush and she's never really gotten over him.
