Because Clark and my birthdays are only three days apart, we often celebrate by choosing a fun activity to do with the whole family.
This year, we did rooftop vintage dancing at Plumfield (thank you, Andrea!) with the whole gang-- So much fun! Really, the evening was a highlight of the summer. Partly, because it's just a really fun activity, and partly because we were all together. Being together with all my people is the best thing in the whole world. There is nothing I would rather do for my birthday than just getting to be with everyone I care the most about. Truly, it makes me feel like my heart will burst with happiness.
It's nice to have so many dancer boys-- plus the men our girls are bringing into the family are great dancers as well!

My birthday buddy. There is just something special about a mom and her first born child.
George and Greta were dance partners. She was almost nine-years old, but she definitely held her own.
The awkward age--- don't stand too close! We had to bring in a partner for Peter-- this is Elika. She lives in our neighborhood and we all adore her! She was such a good sport to come and be Peter's partner.
The first date--Cannon brought Sarah-- a gal in Madrigals with him. We actually all adore Sarah, and we've known her family for about 20 years.

The title of "boyfriend/girlfriend" seems too juvenile for Clark and Brianna. They are more partners and we love them!
