Fox Camp Fourth and Final Day

We definitely were slow to get moving the morning after our rafting adventure.  Abe was so good to get up and make us his famous breakfast sandwiches

It's pretty fun being a grandma and grandpa!

Grandpa's helicopter is a favorite

Family Jeopardy was a hit-- and far more intense than last year.  We had the three in-law sons be the team captains and then pick their teams school-yard style.

Team Ben.
Ben was very brave to not pick his wife as a first pick.  But he was also very wise,  because he chose Faith instead.  He figured she'd be able to answer more questions than someone at the very top or bottom, because she is bridge between the older kids and younger kids.  They won.

Team Hunter got 2nd place.

Sadly, team Landen did not perform so well.

You might notice the question on the screen is to name the five Bennet sisters from Pride and Prejudice.  We balanced that question with another in which the team had to name all nine members of the Fellowship in Lord of the Rings.

A friendly game of Settlers of Catan.  Is there such a thing as a "friendly" game when it comes to Catan?

I always think Elinor looks so glamorous with big black glasses.

We celebrated Daniel's 3rd birthday that evening.

Daniel living his best life:)

Then it was time for a much anticipated game of Secret Hitler.
It was at about this time that the good vibes of family camp went bye-bye.

Here are the victorious Fascists.  It seems that it was a glorious win and there was MUCH celebration and perhaps a some gloating (we see you Cannon).  The Liberals were not amused.  It was good that the final event of the camp was the slide show-- full of pictures from the previous few days, along with feel good, upbeat music.  I think it was mostly successful in reigniting the happy, loving family feelings fostered by the family camp.

Mostly.
