Gatherings

Gathering to celebrate George and Peter's birthdays

These two.  The dynamic of the relationship in a nutshell:  George teases and Peter reacts.
Hopefully they'll grow out of it.

Gathering on a Sunday afternoon for one of Abe's breakfast dinners
Hanging with Greta outside the Jordan River Temple while the boys did baptisms
You know... just helping to gather Israel
A few weeks back the Foxes and Johansens gathered for a cook out at their house.  We hadn't all gotten together with all our kids and grandkids for several years.  IT WAS WONDERFUL!!!!
Everyone enjoyed being together and hopefully it will happen again sooner rather than later.

The hours these girls spent playing with Littlest Pet Shops and Webkinz and American Girl dolls.
I don't think they purposely line up in height order, but it is quite orderly.  As it turns out, Hunter and Jeremy were friends long before Elinor and Hunter ever met.  So Hunter is doubly connected to the Johnasen-- lucky!
We all commented multiple times in the following days how enjoyable the evening had been.

As Faith was finishing up her nursing school classes she had some spare time.  One day she came over and challenged Peter and Greta to memorize the birthdays and ages of everyone in the family.  She offered a trip to Panda Express as motivation to anyone who could do it.  She worked with them and helped them and encouraged them... and THEY DID IT!  They are each holding their "test" papers
Abe and Cannon gathered with fellow Cougar fans at our Alma Mater for one last football game at Lavell Edwards Stadium before he left on his mission.

It will be fun for Cannon to be at BYU when he gets home.

What a gorgeous sight!
The Foxy Ladies gathered for The Miss America Pageant viewing party.  Don't judge.
Even though that is precisely what we did.
Can you feel the joy emanating from this picture?  What to know the secret to our joy?
It is a CAVITY-FREE DENTAL VISITS!!!!!!!
Peter and I are usually the worst offenders, but we all had a clean bill of dental health.  It was a cause for celebration.
