Fox Family Reunion Officially Begins 2022

Uncle Jesse rocking the 'stache with the young adult nephews at the reunion.

We enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch and swimming and Q'emiln Park.
We rented a couple of boats for a few hours for cousins (and aunts and uncles) to take turns tubing up and down the River.
Hyrum (a cousin) and Greta tubing.
There was some needed discussions, mostly among the nine siblings, regarding how to best help their mom adjust to her new life realities in the assisted living home she is in and how to manage her belongings up at FoxHill.  Sounds so serious, but if you know Foxes, they manage to make anytime they are together into a party.  They freely share differing opinions, but it never turns ugly.  I think that is very admirable.
Just because I like my hubby and I like this picture of us.
The adults dinner at Twigs, where the discussions continued.  Overall, this reunion was still enjoyable, but there was definitely a shadow cast over the week.  Knowing that we would have to take a couple of days to go through a lot of stuff and decide how to best handle it, knowing all the while that this was not what Mom Fox wanted.  These siblings love and respect their mother and I think it was just kind of hard for everyone.  Not quite the happy-go-lucky reunion of years past.
Most of the ladies after the Twigs dinner.  Look!  We're all still friends:)

We did get to go visit Grandma at Guardian Angel assisted living home.  It is a really nice place and she is being very well cared for-- as is evidenced by her marked improvement in her health and quality of life.
Greta with Grandma right outside her door with her box filled with foxes.
Grandma giving a tour of her cute little apartment.  She told us all about the cross-stiches and pictures she had up.
This one spoke to me.
