Sunday morning had a lovely leisurely start. We arrived home shortly before 9 pm the night before and it was General Conference, so nobody even had to get dressed in any particular time frame.
The Jesse and Amy Fox family arrived around noon for lunch and more General Conference and lots of general visiting! This is Abe's just younger brother's family and they are not only family, but dear friends as well.
John was so cute with Greta all week--- I feel like I should have paid him for him services of keeping her so happy whenever he was around. And once again, Greta has a thing for teenage boys. Should I be worried?
George and Asher are just a few months apart in age and they were always off playing together. We didn't see much of them.
We loved listening to Conference and there was much cheering and rejoicing at some of the big changes the prophet announced regarding home and visiting teaching.
Lots of teenage girls in the house.
Alexis (in glasses) has been down at BYU this year and we've loved getting to see her a little more often.
We did a very simple Easter egg hunt for the kids.
Some people live by the motto, "If something is worth doing, it's worth doing well."
Yeah, that's not really how I live.
I find, "Done is better than perfect," to be a much happier and more realistic way to go about things.
Cousin fun!
Elinor and Annie are three days apart. They are adorable together-- especially when their creative writing juices start flowing!
I'm not surprised to see Jessica up in the tree finding eggs. She has always been an expert climber!
Next wasn't really understanding the concept of the Easter egg hunt, so John not only found eggs for her, but helped her find the candy inside the eggs. At that point, she finally caught on!
Such a sweetheart!
Abe really treasures his friendship with Jesse. It's a good thing that our adult relationships with our siblings aren't determined by how we treated them when we were 14. If that were the case, Jesse might never speak to Abe again. Thankfully Jesse has been forgiving and they are great brothers.
It was a great day and a great start to Spring break and a week of lots of family fun.
