Day 7 (Wednesday)-- In Which We Get Kicked Off the Island

We began this morning with more snorkeling at Bequia--

Sea turtles!
Sting rays
Can you make out the shape of the shark?  The eye is mid-level, about a quarter from the far right. That was kind of fun.  At least, Island Betsy thought it was fun.  Regular Betsy, not so much.

I don't have a lot of pictures of the island of Mustique.  I will say it had INCREDIBLE snorkeling.  We couldn't decide if we preferred the snorkeling at Bequia or Mustique. But it is an entirely privately owned island--owned by the Mustique Company.  I understand some big-time celebrities live there.  Security is TIGHT.  You can walk on the shore and to a couple of shops right off the beach, but if you try to walk any further along their exceptionally well-maintained roads and landscaping, be aware that very pleasant, but firm security people will find you and tell you to leave.  Apparently, only invited guests are allowed on the island.  Aren't we hoity-toity?

So.  We got a kick out of being kicked off an island.  My Survivor dreams come true!

That night Donny's dessert was an anniversary cake for Abe and me.  They even found little playmobile figures that looked like us.  How sweet is that!
Now we have these souvenirs:)
