Tumbling and Tae Kwon Do and a Tournament

Greta had her first gymnastics performance a couple weeks ago.  She's made a lot of progress in the year that she has been taking at Jolley's and it's been wonderful having Faith as one of her teachers.  Faith has since retired from Jolley's-- just too many other good things competing for her time-- but it was a great experience for them both.

Normally they each class has matching leotards, but you know, COVID changed A LOT of things this year!

Here is the link to her performance.  I will warn you she was really struggling with wedgies throughout.  I guess she got taller since getting her leotard:)
She is a stretchy little thing.

Cute little Peter tested for his jr. blue belt a couple weeks ago.  I love Tae Kwon Do for Peter.  He loves it to and it helps with his discipline and concentration.
Here is the link to Peter testing his senior green belt form.  He's really quite adorable.
The twins had their last speech and debate tournament of the year-- it was, in fact, their first in-person tournament of the year.  Cannon is excited to continue with speech and debate next year and Faith has done as much (and more) than she cares to do.  So this was her last tournament.
The Schramm kiddos and the Fox kiddos.  Not too many years ago, it was all of their older siblings at the tournaments together-- sigh-- time flies.
Abe spent the day volunteering as a judge at the tournament.  He's a good dad like that.
That evening our book club group went to Hale Center Theater Orem to see Emma-- a musical of Jane Austen's Emma.  I quite enjoyed it and I really like Hale Center Theater Orem-- dare I say I prefer the experience there to the larger Hale Center Theater in Sandy.  The quality of actors is not one whit behind, but it is a more intimate experience.
