How adorable are they? We combined forces to throw a pretty fantastic birthday party for three of my favorite little guys-- George, Peter and Dallas all have birthdays within a couple weeks of each other. They share many of the same friends and they all LOVE Bey Blades!
If you aren't familiar with Bey Blades, they are basically fancy, small spinning tops that you launch into a "stadium" and they battle to see which one can stay spinning the longest. The boys have collected these and played with them for months and months. They don't take up much room and the boys have to work together and be good sports. They are great little toys.
We created a tournament-- brackets, referees, official check-in.
Kids could bring their own "Bey" or use one of ours. Cannon was awesome! He seriously ran the whole tournament himself!
This was really quite a simple party to plan, but the kids loved it!
Dallas's little brother (and Peter's very best friend) won the whole thing and the boys were such good sports-- cheering and raising him up!
George won 2nd place because "he does have the best Bey in the neighborhood". Although I suppose now he has the "2nd best Bey in the neighborhood".
George turned 9, Dallas turning 8 and Peter turning 5.
The pinata was fun-- it would have lasted a little longer if it weren't for the only girl at the party-- aka-- the best little home security system I've ever seen. She was fierce!
The BFF little sisters of the birthday boys. Annie and I worked together to plan and pull of the party and I'm very much in favor of sharing party planning!
The birthday boys were happy to get... MORE BEY BLADES!
