The Nutcracker, Take 1

Earlier in November, Cannon and George performed in their studio's Nutcracker down in Provo.  Few things make me happier than watching the boys dance.  The first night of the show Grandpa Cannon and Clark and Alexa joined Abe and I.
The second night Bethany and Greta and I went to the show.
I don't know if this was Greta's first ballet-- I think she went to Nutcracker with us last year-- but she was enthralled.  She couldn't stay in her seat, rather was up and dancing to the music.  It was pretty cute.  And since there was plenty of space between patrons-- thank you COVID, there was plenty of space for dancing:)
The dance show was inspiration for George leading the younger kids in creating and choreographing their own Nutcracker at home.  This was the ticket box office.  They are dressed in their all-black costumes.
They made tickets for everyone-- reasonably priced at $.10 apiece.
Here are the seats where the audience sits.
An announcement was made welcoming us to the "Fox Family Center for the Arts" and reminding us that masks are not required.  Then the curtain was pulled up from the top of the bunk bed and the show began!
The show consisted of just the battle scene, but it was action-packed!
The audience was enthusiastic and appreciative.
And the performers were very gracious and professional:)

We are excited for the boys to do the Oquirrh Mountain Ballet Nutcracker on December 11th and 12th.  Cannon will be the Nutcracker Prince again and George will be Fritz.
