Awwww.... yeah! You know what time it is!!!! SUMMER!!!! The backyard pool is back! We put it up the weekend before Memorial Day, even though the weather wasn't (and still hasn't been) that warm yet. These children have spent plenty of time in the pool, cooler temperatures notwithstanding.
Abe and Faith worked so hard to get the pool up and going. It's situated even better than it was last year.
Besties.

Saturday morning we hiked Ensign Peak. Gorgeous view with a few of my favorite people.

Look! We're shrinking. Faith was off with friends and we were down to only half our kiddos. Weird. Enjoyable, but weird.
The hike wasn't a true success until a reptile was captured. It was very much a team effort of all the boys to catch it. Is George now the proud new owner of a beautiful yellow-bellied racer that lives in my house? Yep. Am I the most awesome mom ever? I'd say that's a hard YES.
And that is one very happy eleven-year-old.
