Oquirrh Mountain Ballet - Nutcracker 2020

December 10, 11 and 12 was the Oquirrh Mountain Ballet Nutcracker.  This was Cannon and George's second year being involved with this production and it is magical!  We love it! George was delighted to be Fritz and Cannon was the Nutcracker Prince/Nephew.  This year was different because...hello, COVID.  They were only allowed an audience of 100 seats per show.  Thankfully we had purchased our tickets early, because every show completely sold out.
Here is a little compilation of what we took a video of at a couple different shows.

Watching the boys dance in The Nutcracker has fast become one of my very favorite Christmas traditions.  Greta could not contain her joy in the music and was constantly dancing in her seat.  We will look forward to her getting to be in the show someday.
I am going to overload on pictures because I love it so much.  George was "complimented" many times on what a naughty Fritz he was:)  And it's true!  He was the most pestery, persistent Fritz I've ever seen.  And such great facial expressions!  What a little actor!

This one makes me laugh.
Nice unison!
When Fritz broke the Nutcracker.
Not the clearest picture, but it was an adorable moment on stage.

It was wonderful to see how much Cannon has improved since last year.

I adored this Clara.  She was so good and just a lovely young woman.  And they were so cute together!
We enjoyed a nice dinner together before going to the show on Saturday night.
They work so hard and it is such a joy to watch them do something they enjoy so much.
Joe White-- A.K.A the Mouse King and the Spanish Prince-- is also George and Peter's hip-hop teacher.  He is so great with the boys and a wonderful example.
Come on, everyone-- time for a family picture.
That's better:)
Clark and Alexa ended up not being able to join us for the show so they aren't in the family picture.

And this little Greta could not sit still during the show.  She danced in her seat throughout the whole thing.  The music speaks to her little soul and I expect it won't be long before she joins her brothers on the stage.  No complaints from me:)
