Silverwood 2021

We love Silverwood and we love it even more with so much family joining in the fun.  It's awesome to run across aunts and uncles and cousins at every turn.

They've been coming to Silverwood together since they were wee little tykes.  We prefer it to Lagoon.
The whole gang at the amazing BBQ lunch
Brigham, George, and Asher were good buddies.
John, Cannon, and Jessica
Stuart, Hallie, Grace, Greta, Peter, and Abe.

One of the very best moments of the day was when we all-- including Peter and Greta and a somewhat unwilling George-- went on "Timber Terror"-- a fairly good sized, rough wooden roller coaster.
Way to be brave, everybody!
Cannon experiencing the thrill of Tiny Toot.
Entertaining conversation while waiting for the train ride.
On the train.

Greta ran out of steam before the steam engine did.
Moses, Ford, Elinor, and Faith
I'm dying over Elinor's facial expression here.
Grace and Greta.  I don't know what Greta's pose is all about.  I guess its a hold over from our church history trip.
Faith has completely overcome any fear of big rides and Cannon is well on his way.  He has a couple left to brave next year.
My favorite little duo of the day.  At 7 years old and almost 7, Hallie and Peter finally found friendship after a few years of battling wills.  They were seated next to each other on the frog ride and were inseparable for the rest of the afternoon and evening.
The final ride of the day.  The kids were all gushing about how much fun the day was.  We've never had season passes to an amusement park and I don't think I'd want to go more than once a year, but I must concur with the family-- it was a super fun day.
