Let the fun begin! Bethany was ecstatic this week to get to do her first official Miss Riverton appearance-- at a Riverton Elementary DARE graduation. She came home on cloud nine-- she loved everything about it.
The 2nd Attendant went with her and Bethany got to say a few words and high five/fist bump all the kids as they got their certificates. Bethany has always been so playful and has such great rapport with kids-- she is definitely in her element here.
There were selfies and autographs and hugs and smiles all around. She is excited to do several more of these DARE graduations at other elementary schools in the city, then all the parades and several other city functions. She has been a very busy gal for quite some time, but this Miss Riverton thing is really going to take it up a notch. Good thing she likes to keep a full schedule.
Today she was interviewed at the city building for an article (I presume) in the local paper. What exciting things she will get to experience as she gives of her time and talents to serve the city that has been such a happy, safe place for her to grow up in. Life is good when you're the queen:)
