Hiking Donut Falls

As summer begins winding down (at least around these parts) our hiking outings have slowed down as well--- sadness.  The hiking has been the highlight of the summer I am sad it won't last year round.  I'm guessing there is some good hiking to be had in fall as well.
This outing was to Donut Falls-- a short, sweet, but very fun hike up Big Cottonwood Canyon.
We were all so happy to be back out in nature again.
Greta's hair had seen better days.
Elinor has been working on her flexibility... she's a pretty big deal!

Adventuring.
And he didn't even get his shoes wet.
Peter was "making peace in nature" and meditating.  Get this boy out in nature more often!
Doughnuts for a treat after hiking Donut Falls.
