Summer and Stupid Human Tricks

Summer.  These are the days we'll fantasize about in February.

They're the cutest.
George's Civil War camp was the past week.  It's always exciting to go see their final battle, not knowing who will win.
This year, George's side--the North-- won!  Sadly, George was a casualty of the battle.  Yet, he was so committed to his death that it was somehow satisfying to witness.

Friday evening was our adorable Primary Pioneer Parade through the neighborhood.  So simple, but the kids get so excited about it.
Cute little Greta in her pioneer dress and bonnet.

Faith had girls camp this week--  she had a great time and I was very happy to get her home.  I was also so happy to get Cannon back from FSY.  At the beginning of the summer, it was nice to have everyone off at camps and such.  But by the end of this week, I was definitely ready to get my big people back.  They entertain me:)
A highlight of my week?  Talking with Bethany with our pig noses.  Sometimes, just for fun, we tape our noses into pig noses.  We've been doing this for years. We amuse ourselves.  And please note, our very squishy noses can achieve this look better than most.  Her being on a mission is no reason to stop a long-beloved tradition.
We invited her companion to join us.  As you can see, her nose was far too cute and little to get the full effect.
Teaching the next generation.  Pay no mind to the boogie in my nose.  It's all part of the look.
Come on, everybody!  Let's all have pig noses!
Not wishing to be left out, Peter shares his stupid human trick with Bethany.  We're really something, aren't we?
