The Cornuopia's Take Riverton

Saturday, July 2nd was the Cornucopia's official debut in the Riverton Town Days Corn Hole Tournament.
With a little help from our friend Candice, we had our official uniforms and we were looking the part of champions!
Look how awesome my partner is!  Cornucopia's forever!!!
Love me some cornhole!
Resting in the shade in between matches.  We lost, then won, then lost.  So, we didn't do as well as we'd hoped-- dare I say, expected.  However, we learned some very valuable information about serious cornhole competitions.  For example, there are professional bags that really do make a difference.  The team that knocked us out was using the "Game Changers".  We didn't even know fancy bags were a thing.  Well.  At that point, you know we knew what we needed for my birthday present this year---
Faith and Abe surprised me when I got home Wednesday night with these little beauties!  Yello Game Changers.  Faith and I immediately got busy tossing some bags.
As silly as corn hole is-- and let's be honest, it's really just a glorified bean bag toss--- Faith and I have had so much fun playing a practicing together.  It suits both of our "grind it out" personality tendencies.  We like to crank the One Direction tunes while we enjoy the sun and the friendly competition.
Greta is our cutest little fan.  She makes signs and cheers for the Cornucopias.  Peter is often our surprisingly reliable scorekeeper.
Win or lose, we're having such a good time!  And it was so nice to have Abe and the kiddos there to support us:)
